Cape Green Link™ - Commercial operations begin in late December 2030. Construction of the transmission infrastructure and mega solar PV Mine is scheduled to commence in phases from 2028 to 2030 with final commissioning end of 2030.

2. What is the Bronz300 certificate, and how do I get it?
Answer: The Bronz300 certificate is for 2 million Western Cape households that register and pay a once off fee of R98 (VAT included). The certificate grants the holder the right to receive uncapped electricity per month at a fixed tariff of R2.88 / kWh (Incl. VAT) in 2030 - for life. Yes, this is correct.
